At St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School, we use our Sports Premium funding strategically to secure sustainable improvements in the quality of PE, sport, and physical activity across the school. In line with Ofsted expectations, our approach focuses on:

• Developing staff expertise through high-quality professional development to ensure long-term impact.
• Broadening the range of sports and activities offered to pupils, increasing engagement and enjoyment.
• Raising participation levels in competitive sport and extracurricular opportunities for all pupils.
• Improving physical literacy and fitness to support pupils’ health and well-being.
• Embedding physical activity into the school day, promoting active lifestyles beyond PE lessons.

Our aim is to ensure that every child leaves St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School with the skills, confidence, and motivation to lead a healthy, active life. We regularly monitor and evaluate the impact of our Sports Premium spending to ensure it meets statutory requirements and delivers measurable outcomes.
